With Purpose!

I came into work early today as I couldn’t get back to sleep when I awoke at 1:15.   So, been doing paperwork and just sat here for a bit and looked at all the “special” things I have above my desk.   Quotes, pictures, Bible verses, cartoons.   One of the ones I keep returning to says:

THE DREAM GIVER

God created you for a greater purpose.  It’s the most important journey of your life; The pursuit of your God-given destiny.

Sometimes in the busy rush-rush-rush of our days we can forget that each and every one of us has a purpose……

What is yours?

I have 135 days of Freedom!

I believe my purpose is to serve others while nurturing myself.  For a long time I mostly forgot about the nurturing me part (there weren't enough hours in the day!), but I am making up for lost time now.

I surely hope they find something to help with your insomnia.  I can't imagine having to function with so little sleep.  You should be SO proud of you!

Still pursuing my purpose but along the way, finding many blessings and know that something GREAT is awaiting me.

You are so right Sharon. Sadly, it took near death to make me realize not only my purpose in life, but how important it is to take the time to just enjoy it. All the years I spent working my life away, chasing money and promotions, only to realize that in the end those are not the important things. We to work survive but thats not life or real purpose.

I'm praying for you to sleep well tonight and have the sweetest of dreams.
