Ok, Ok - I haven't even logged in for forever. My bad. Know that it was shame driven. I have been smoking and quitting and freaking out. So I finally called and made an appt. with my doc to see about a cessation aid. I hate the idea of it - a new addiction! But apparently welbutrin isn't addictive, and is often prescribed. SO I'm going to see what happens. The appt. is tomorrow, and I think you're supposed to take it for two weeks before you quit. So that means September 26th for me. Hopefully it will be a bit easier this way....
On the subject of aids, has anyone tried Chantix?? My brother tried it to quit and had verrrry scary side effects (indifference to life, depression, forgetting meals, nightmares...). Anyone out there ever try it, or know anything about it? I'm worried they will try to prescribe that to me...
