Quiting smoking can be a rocky road but well worth traveling on.  Here are a couple tips that can be helpful.

Tip 1: Turn Quitting Into a Competing Game With Yourself

Steps to Follow:

*For one week smoke as you usually do.  The only difference here is every day start with a new pack.  Put the unfinished pack, you were smoking the day before, aside.

*Every night count the number of cigarettes you had for the day and note it.   Do this every day for one week.

*At the end of day 7 calculate the average number of cigarettes you had each day during that week.

(example: Let's say you smoked a pack for 2 days (30 cigarettes) (35 cigarettes the next 3 days) (28 cigarettes the last 2 days) This means you smoked 221 cigarettes withn 7 days. Now divide 221 by 7 = 31.57..... (round up to 32)  For the week you smoked on average 32 cigarettes each day.)

*Here's when the fun comes to play.  For the week that follows smoke 32 cigarettes every day.  (It helps to start a new pack each day and put the rest aside for tomorrow or the next)

Note: Every morning make sure you have your 32 cigarettes seperated from the rest of the cigarettes.  This is your stash for the day. 😃  Seperating them from the start will help keep track of the number of cigarettes you had during the day, without confusion.

*Once the week is up follow the same procedure but this time reduce it by 1 cigarette.  So instead of smoking 32 cigarettes you are smoking 31 cigarettes each day for a week.

*When that week is up follow the same procedure but reduce it by 1 more cigarette.  So now you are smoking 30 cigarettes each day for a week.  DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE? 😃

IMPORTANT:  Keep it fun...most smokers fail when they feel pressured into doing something... like quiting for example.  So Keep it fun and somewhat comfortable.  NEVER revert back to more cigarettes than is put aside for the day but if you need more time to reduce the amount of cigarettes - feel free to do so.  In other words, if you need to remain smoking an "x" amount of cigarettes for more than a week ... it's o.k.  When you are ready then continue with the procedure.  You will know when that is.  Before you know it, the procedure will become a competition game with yourself.  You will want to win!!! =))

REMEMBER:  Rome wasn't built in a day.  You have been smoking for awhile.  This procedure will take a while before you become an ex smoker but that's o.k.  The important thing here you will become an ex smoker if you follow these steps.  The procedure is known as "weaning cigarettes."

(IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL DURING THIS PROCESS OR ANY TIME SOON THEREAFTER.  GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO ADJUST TO THE FACT YOU ARE AN EX SMOKER ... AT LEAST 30 - 90 DAYS AFTER YOU HAD YOUR LAST CIGARETTE)

Tip 2:  Read  the book "An Easy Way to Stop Smoking" by Allen Carr.

This book also comes in a CD format. (which I personally recommend.) That way you can listen to it every day until you become an ex smoker.  It has a 90% success rate.

There is a Tip 3: It's called the "Recipe" to Quit Smoking.  Unfortunately, I no longer have this recipe (the right combination of vitamins) but I do know it works.  I will search for it.  If I find it I will post it.  If anyone out there knows what "recipe" I'm talking about PLEASE let me know.  Thank you.

Hope these tips help you.  GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS! =))

P.S.  The tips listed here are not meant to override what you are learning on this website.  I think this website is wonderful and I feel blessed that I found it.   I am grateful for the support given by the team and by the members.  These are tips I have found through research and have seen do work.  So I hope it does what it's meant to do ... to help.  The last thing I want to do is to offend someone.  So please, if you don't agree with these tips, just smile and know there's someone here just trying to help someone else not hurt them.  Sending you my best. =))
