Three Weeks

I've noticed that there's a pattern here. Including with myself. I've been observing that when someone reaches the 3 week point in their quit, they are baffled as to why the cravings have not gone away yet. I've heard many times "when does it stop already??"  It is at this point that I believe it's crucial to understand that it will never be totally "over". While it gets easier as time goes by, we must never ever think we are "safe" from the addiction. We must always remind ourselves that we cannot take ONE puff EVER or we put ourselves right back where we started.

The day we think we are "over" it is usually the day we think we can have "just one" and are hooked again instantly.

Always guard your quit and never ever take another puff!!!
