Happy Afternoon all
just thought I'd update you on the day and get it off my chest. Right when i walked in. my brother asked to bum a cig. i told him i quit. my mother ans sister already know.My mom asked me for a lighter and I had told her that I quit. Lol she meant no harm and I gave her a look like "do you know what you just asked me?" My sister was standing next to (she doesn't smoke) and kind of for a little upset at our mother. It's automatic reaction to look to me for a cigarette or a lighter as I'm the one who ALWAYS had both. I laughed it off and my mother hugged me and apologized. I told her that I knew she didn't mean it and that she's going senial in the old age of 62 (just kiddin)!
Im still not at the party yet, I will go for a walk around the block and watch a video I took of myself coughing if the temptation arises. But I've already been exposed to my partner and brother smoking infront of me. As soon as this happened...I got some water & I came in to write this blog. Is it difficult? Of course! But still I'd rather get myself used to not smoking and being around smokers. I can't avoid them because I love them all. And I know that my immediate is very supportive and completely understanding. I'll be ok with the support of this site and my immediate for today. NOPE!!! 😉
