1047 Days Since I Stopped Making EXcuses to Smoke!

While I seldom get my knickers in a knot or get involved in site drama (the integrity of our community and our quits are too important), this requires attention.

DON'T SELL YOURSELF SHORT!  YOU CAN DO THIS!  We have all been where you are now!  And we are HERE  to help you!

The blog:

My comment:

Everyone can quit smoking.  It isn't something that only the 'special' or 'gifted' can do.

You are selling defeat and failure thinking.  Why bother to quit when you know you'll never make it.....quitting is just too hard for you or Auntie.

That entire line of thinking is BS.

Time and again, person by person, quit by quit........success by success.....this can be done.  And IS DONE ALL THE TIME ON AND OFF THIS SITE!!!

Telling people they can't quit because they are in the 94% and not the 6% is terrible.  You lost your own quit and you have never had your freedom from cigarettes.

Coming to a site with such a strong community and success rate of awesome quitters who have done it and support each other in their freedom to peddle failure?

Boy, howdy, what kind of person tells other people they are bound for failure just because you haven't figured out how to do it yourself.

The ability to go several hours without nicotine is not freedom.  That's addiction.

Stinkin Thinkin, Junkie Thinking, 'I can't do it, so why bother trying' thinking.

Wow.  Just wow.

We've done it.  We KNOW it can be done by everyone.
