See, when I quit smoking, I started buying stickers instead. I think seeing those colorful little adhesive things made me happy and maybe gave me a quick hit of dopamine. And I never stopped buying them. I have Christmas stickers, Hello Kitty stickers, elephant stickers, frog stickers, holographic stickers, Sesame Street stickers, Winnie the Pooh stickers, monster stickers, smiley face stickers, star stickers, rainbow stickers, and on, and on, and on. I have thousands, I think. I haven't counted lately, but sometimes, when I need to cheer up, I count my stickers, like a miser with a sock of money in his backyard. It's a little weird, but hey, at least I don't smoke.
When I'm not counting my stickers, though, I am sending letters with them. I didn't know what to do with the stickers, so I decided it would be cool to write a letter per day and cover it in stickers. I have about 12-15 people with whom I correspond regularly now, but I still run out of people to write on occasion, and that's where you come in.
If you send me your mailing address, I'll send you a letter. If you're a little freaked out at the idea of sending your address to a half-stranger from the Internet, I have several people on the site who will vouch for the fact that I am neither a peeping Tom nor a serial killer. I'm just a gal with a lot of stickers. These include such notables as Sky Girl, Brelar, Mattie, Joyeux, SkolGirlDiane, Owlfeather, Lois, Justsayno, Freedom 38, FrogueLady, Kellie, and Jordan. If I forgot you, sorry. I've been at this for six months. 😃 Anyway, if you want one, send me your address. It doesn't matter if you're an oldbie, a newbie, a smoker, a nonsmoker, a lurker, someone I know, someone I don't...I'll send a letter to ANYONE. So what are you waiting for? Just do it!
