I arrived home last night to find the bed frame I had ordered basically blocking the entrance to my apartment. It's usually impossible to get DHL and FedEx deliveries because I live in a secured building and they typically attempt delivery while I am at work. I normally have to have them try at least once so I can tell them to hold it at their delivery center which is a ways south of the city and completely inconvenient to me. Considering this box weighed 70 pounds and had at least a foot on me in height, I wasn't too thrilled with that prospect. After maneuvering through my door and dragging it into my apartment I took a small break and then slapped it together, all by mahself. I feel so grown up having a bed frame again!
It was another great distraction to keep my hands and mind busy during the first few days of my "quit." I am now at 9 days of not smoking and looking forward to hitting my "double digit" 10 day milestone. I'm keeping myself occupied and it's almost crazy how much more I can get done when I'm not spending a ton of my free time killing myself with cigarettes. I'm kicking butt(s.)
How are you staying busy, EXers?
