My clock says 100 days today. Seems like 100 days all right, LOL, but I made it through the Christmas parties without smoking, so I feel good about that.
I've had a few urges though, especially today, as I'm attempting to cut back on eating certain items, and all of the sweet stuff is gone from my house. I am up 22 pounds since the beginning of my quit. I was down to that "nothing to wear" thing because none of my pants fit (except for my yoga pants), so I did go out and buy a couple pair of new pants in a larger size. I'm hoping I don't have to do that again. I am hoping I will eventually fit into the old ones again once I get through the holidays. I do have a New Year's eve party to attend, but after that, I will be seriously on a diet and exercise routine. I really don't have time to go to a gym every day, so I am shopping for a treadmill. Any suggestions out there on what kind I should buy? I know I want the kind that folds up, but I know nothing about what features are good to have or what size motor will last a long time.
Whatever happens, I am determined not to let the weight gain cause me to return to smoking. Not this time!
