It's been 37 days 17 hours and some odd minutes and seconds since I last smoked.  I really feel alot stronger now and really like being a non-smoker.   It is striking all the firsts we have and how they present themselves as challenges.  My husband and I went snowmobiling yesterday.  55 miles in below 0 windchill.  It was weird walking out to my sled not smoking.  Waiting for hubby to start it, not smoking.  Got to the first stop and didn't rip my helmet off to smoke first thing.  It was scary at the start.  I felt like I had never ridden before (silly).  As the time went on it felt right.  Going into those smoky bars was OK.  I felt good not smoking and it was OK.  I'm really liking this.

Hang in there, the best is yet to come.  I'm sure not all of the tense times are over, but I think I can face them and am looking forward to all the other firsts to come.  God Bless everyone.  Cherish every first you have, and celebrate it.  It can only be a first once!
