Although not as popular as the movie with the same title, it's exponentially more awesome an achievement for me. Last time I tried quitting, I lasted 7 days. This is good.
Also, my insomnia has slowed tremendously. I can almost sleep a full 6 hours straight, sans alcohol and other sleep aids. I'm definitely on the road to the truest of success!
In other news, I made some awesome spicy chili for today's sports ball game.

Todays game was great! I love it when it goes right down to the wire and my team wins! The Chili sounds good. Congrats on the 28 days! Protect Your Quit.

28 days is great! I think it goes in 7's myself. it's a cycle. 45 days and your liver makes new cells, that's what a doctor told me, when I quit drinking. 28 days is 4 7's. so that means you are 4 times more likely to stay quit. lol. I just made that up. Anyway that's awesome, you can do this!

A great quit you got going there! We are at about the same place in our quits. I know what you mean about the insomnia. I fall asleep, then wake up. Come here for a bit and then back to bed. It is getting better.
mmm chili. : )

Good Job.
You are heading into No Mans Land.
Be aware for the next 4 1/2 months
This is the time people think they can have just one.
This is the time the addiction is at its sneakiest.
this is the time most people who have made it a month let their guard down and fail their quits
