Hello all my fellow Ex smoker and soon to be Ex smoker friends. Please join with me in a celebration of several wonderful milestones today. I have a very short introduction today, consisting of only one word, FREEDOM, defined as, “Exemption from external control.” The people we celebrated today have all made the decision and the commitment to be free of the external control of the drug nicotine and to regain control of their lives. Come party on the FREEDOM TRAIN!
Floribundi ( Becky) 50 Days! She is a self professed control freak who finally decided to take control of her addiction. She thought she could, she thought she could and she did!
Sheila_e 50 Days! A young mother of 3 children, she decided had enough of being a slave to smoke and nicotine and she set herself free. I love to see young people quitting!
Sinomen 100 Days! I have enjoyed her blogs and our conversations over the past few weeks. Most of all I have admired her attitude and her willingness to do what ever it takes to be free. “I don't really care what it takes, meds, gum, patches, hypnotism, shaving my head and standing on one foot while reciting the alphabet backwards.”
Erebus45 200 Days! Has not left much of a trail on the site, just quietly gone about the business of not smoking. I personally do not know much about you but I happy to celebrate your 200 days of freedom. I hope you will be here to party with us.
Lori 200 Days! We have not seen Lori on here in a while so we will happily celebrate your wonderful milestone in your absence. I hope you can join the party.
Ohwellmaybenot 300 Days! (Kelly) Oh well I think maybe so. Kelly was smart enough to stop smoking while she was still young and that always warms my heart. We are very proud of you Kelly, congratulations on your beautiful quit. Thank you for letting us share this special milestone with you.
Debi 800 DAYS! WOW!!!!!!!!! Debi is one of my NC buddies and I am so excited about her amazing long term quit. What a great example she is to the rest of us who are just getting started. I hope you will come and celebrate with us today. We are all so proud of you.
I will mention 3 others that honestly I am not sure about. Paigewon 50 days, Wobble 50 days, and Dianehall 100 days, if anyone knows these folks please let them know that we want to honor their achievements and we don't want to leave anyone behind at the station.
