Hey, hope everyone is feeling good in the new year. I just wanted to take a minute to express my thoughts. I never thought I could get to this point. Like, I don't even think about cigs anymore....hardly ever. Maybe every now and then, and by that I mean literally maybe once or twice a month....I'll drive down the street and see someone in a car puffin' on one and think for a nanosecond a smoke would be good, but before the thought is even complete I think "no it wouldn't, it would taste nasty and probably make me vomit"....I don't know if I would actually vomit, but if that's what my mind is thinking I'll go with it....LOL!!! Anyone who is new reading this, look back at my blogs....I struggled like crazy the first few months....wouldn't smoke for a long time, then I would smoke for a few days....then not smoke for a while, then smoke for a few days.....It was a struggle, but somewhere in my mind I knew that I really wanted this, but the addiction would win every now and then. But I kept trying. It's statistically proven that it takes a few attempts at quitting to actually do it. I probably have 7 or 8 under my belt. No one is perfect. You may get some flack from some folks on here if you screw up and have a smoke, but they only care, and they know the chances of you going back and forgetting about quitting are very high. All I'm saying is....if you mess up....KEEP TRYING!!!!! I am very glad I did!!! And I messed up a lot of times!!!! Now I have a long time under my belt of not smoking, because I KEPT TRYING!!!! That's really about it. It feels so awesome to be free. My life is totally normal again. I never thought life could be "normal" without cigarettes, but guess what???? It can, no doubt. Total Freedom.
Peace.
