Going to go without a quit clock on my page for a while. I've had one up for a long time, but when they upgraded (and I use that term loosely) the site, I was unable to save my quit clock in my profile because it said the code was too long. So, I'm going to go without it. I know I've been quit for about 2 years and 8 months, and trust me I'll never forget my quit date, lol. I think that it is important to have a count clock in the beginning, as with each passing minute, hour, and day, a new quitter can gain invaluable confidence. Not everyone will agree with me on this but I'm at a point (like 960 days or so) where I just know beyond any doubt that I will never smoke again. So for me, I don't know that the quit clock is all that necessary any more. What do you think?

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
