today i beat my goal again. my rule was to smoke 8, my goal was to smoke 6, and i smoked 5. i think i will continue smoking 5 until friday. then saturday is my quit day. i already started getting rid of things that would make me think of smoking once i quit. i'm going to throw out my liters, ashtray, and cigarettes. i'm going to get the step 2 patch i think. and i'm going to pick up some carrot sticks, sun flower seeds, gum, a stress ball, and anything else that may help me during my quit.
i read on someone elses blog that every time they got the urge to smoke they would do 25 jumping jacks. i wanted to know if that kind of thing really works for people or if it is a waste of time? i think i am going to plan on doing that, because if i think i will work my mind will probably just believe that it is working, and what harm can 25 jumping jacks do me anyway?
any other suggestions would be greatly appriciated!
