Hello all... I haven't been here in a while... I went to my page and when I saw 161 days i thought wow..that is awesome !! It really is awesome and I owe it to the caring and sharing quitters, new and old, on this site..God..and my NOT ONE PUFF EVER commitment !!!!!
I was watching the news today and they are talking about changing the packaging on cigs...there will be graphic photos of cancer on lungs compared with clean lungs........a baby with a mother smoking...mouth cancer...etc.
The news people are asking if this is a good idea or is it too graphic for kids to see..blah blah blah...
I think it is a great idea..If i had to look at those pictures everytime I went to get a cig....I might have quit sooner. Too graphic??? The things kids see these days on regular tv is no better and it may save a child or two from watching one of their parents from dying of cancer caused by smoking !! Now that is graphic..I know!

I hope all you new quitters will Commit to quit !! I smoked over 30 years and quit cold turkey..the few days out of your comfort zone when you will feel uneasy are so worth the benefits and freedom of quitting smoking !
Stay strong.. Quit and dont look back.. only forward to all of the new benefits your new smokefree life will bring !
