Well a painful lesson was learned. Who knew you weren't supposed to leave these babies in the water over night. The repair entailed taking the sick ski to a repair shop and having the oil and water drained out of the engine. Next diesel fuel is placed in the motor and run to lubricate the cylinders, then new oil and filter, computer diagnosis came up with some check engine codes but after running it for an hour in the water it is running good as new. Total cost for this error $400.00. Oh well live and learn! Since this is not our Jet Ski but we have permission to use it a decision was made to park it for now. A new super charger or motor is several thousand dollars and the budget just won't handle that. For now we will be looking for another used ski. Nothing can keep us off the river!
