71 days today...wow! I can hardly believe it. Not because of the 71 days really but because those 71 days have not been bad at all. This is the first time that I have actually felt calm while in the early stages of a quit.

I went to a casino last Friday night for a party that my husband's work put on and that casino was full of people smoking. I was surprised that it was not that difficult for me (okay..I did have to chew on a straw for a while)......and the smell...yikes people! I had to wash all of the clothes I was wearing when I got home.

Saturday we went to some friends to watch the UFC fight and a very good smoking buddy of mine came. She asked if I was smoking and when I told her no, she congratulated me and went out to smoke..this was a toughy since I really did enjoy smoking with her..but I made it through.

I think I might have this thing licked! Won't get too cocky though..
