I have a classmate who gets on my nerves sometimes. He's a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but perhaps I can illustrate this  better with a short story. We are both taking a Windows 7 class as part of our degree. We both have the same major, that is Microcomputer Support Specialist (basically geared towards an IT position). The class has been having some trouble installing the needed software for the course, something called Virtual PC,  which allows you to run two seperate operating systems on the same computer. Anyway, we were having problems. He sat down at the table, couldn't figure it out, and started ranting and raving about how "this piece of crap doesn't  work right" and so on. So he gets up and storms away, off to see the instructor about the problem. I'm sitting at the table, and I tinker around with it, reload the thing, and get it to work. He comes back, the instructor fixed it for him. I didn't say anything, but I'm thinking.......You do know you are studying to get a job so that YOU can FIX COMPUTERS, RIGHT? What are you going to do when you are working for a company and you can't find the problem. Call your old instructor, don't think so! If you can't fix it now, what are you going to do when it's your job!

Just a little story to remind you, if you are quitting smoking, don't rush off and smoke, Stay Calm, be Patient, think it through. Don't forget to breathe! Come here for support. We can help you get through this.

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
