Not sure what to do?

Hi all,

I could use a little advice here.  I got  together with family yesterday, and  my  brother and his wife just had a baby on November 6th.  Well, before she got pregnant, my brother and his wife  both drank and smoked. To their  credit, they quit drinking  and smoking while she  was pregnant. But now that  the  baby is here, they are both smoking and drinking again. I don't want that , of  course,  but my main concern here is for the baby  (my  nephew). She is breast-feeding, and I have heard  that nicotine and alcohol can  be passed through breast milk? Is there any truth to that? Anyway, I  feel I need  to say something  for my nephew's  sake, but I don't want to piss off my  brother either. Not sure  what  to do?

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
