Day 3!

Ok so I decided to quit smoking cigarettes, like everyone else reading this, and today is my third day without any nicotine. The times I have tried to quit before I used the patch or the gum, but honeslt its still nicotine, which is the only reason anyone smokes or chews...to get the buzz. My body has begun a cleansing period and Im not certain how long it will last, but its reminded me of how much damage Ive voluntarily inflicted upon myself. My lungs wont stop producing mucus, my throat aches, and I get mad cravings. Positive things- Im getting my smell and taste back! I can take deeper breaths! I feel less like something is holding me back physically, and feel as though I don't need cigarettes to lean on. Granted it sucks to see friends smoking and asking me why Im not, but hey, its for me.
