Day One- Keeping my cool. Mints and cheese are my friend.

So, it's my first day without a cigarette and it's been 13 hours and counting. I am using the patch, as I was smoking about 1 1/2 - 2 packs per day. I keep thinking about how I'm going to deal with all the little cravings, and honestly the hardest triggers for me today have been driving and after I cleaned my house. Before I went to the store, I was melting little cubes of cheese on my tongue to help cravings, but since I've gone out I swear I have gone through a few packs of mints already. I guess it's better to have peppermint breath than ashtray.
