I just kinda feel like writing right now so that's what I'm gonna do. I've been so busy these last couple weeks looking for a new job. I'm still working a lot at a very depressing job. By the end of the day I really just want to scream into a pillow because I don't want to go back. So quitting with this job has just been an accomplishment.
It's not even a bad job it just pays really poorly for all the work I do. I had a knee injury last year and that kind of ruined my life for awhile. I was completely miserable and I smoked all the time. But I'm making lots of changes and that's great. So anyways I had disability to help pay my bills but my benefits have been exhausted although my knee sounds like fireworks when I rotate it. Anyone that has felt it instantly cringes because it's bone on bone. I have almost no cartilage so my leg is still really small and that's a whole other issue.
It's taken me a while to get to this point and I feel like my quit was the start of something new for me. I'm still young but I'm really growing up, and I'm noticing that because I hang with an older crowd now. So my original post was going to be about the jobs and look how far I've gone.
So the jobs...
SunFX...sunless tanning place, I would be a customer service rep but get this. I'm going to do the training while still going on interviews, and working. I know, right. I get to the paid training and if I find something else the lady said it's okay. Which makes me feel even worse because she's being so cool about it.
Wamu...walking distance from my house...yeah I know...interview some time early next week.
Internet solutions company...customer sales rep...really fun company...ya know the hip growing company that is just so "in". Yeah, it seems cool, they really seem to take care of their employees and it's in the real estate industry, good on a resume, right?
So I don't know which to choose, or who will offer me the jobs but I've gotten call backs on all the interviews I've been to. I really want Wamu, if they offer, I take. Otherwise it's a bit of a toss up,
One is a small company representing a big product, the other a big company in a really big industry.
