Grocery List

I'm seeing a grocery list of excuses here lately. People love to rationalize and come up with all kinds  of reasons why they just had to have that smoke. Some of them are understandable, but none are acceptable. My favorite one is "well I'm stressed over money." Well, if you don't spend 150 a month plus on cigs, you might not be so stressed over money. We all have our own problems, and they range from severe health issues, to financial troubles, to stress at work or home, and so on and so on. Now I don't have a problem with people coming on here and talking about their troubles, don't get me wrong. I think that is helpful, very  theraputic if nothing else, as it is very unhealthy to keep things bottled up inside, and some folks don't have anywhere else to go, so by all means, keep blogging. What I do kind of have a problem with is that YOU CANNOT USE ALL THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO SMOKE. The only way, and I mean the ONLY way to successfully quit for good is to make your choice and stick to it no matter what kind of excuses your brain is coming up with. Make your choice and do it! It's not as hard as you think,  as long as you remain firm in your decision.

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
