I keep saying how the days weeks and months seems to zoom right on by!🤷‍♀️ I'm hoping May sticks around for awhile full of gorgeous sunshiny days plus enough rain to keep the drought and forest fires away and keep everything green and beautiful! I'm hoping this Summer will be the best of the best for all of us BUT no matter is happening in our lives we MUST keep our quits in TACT Which means ~ N.O.P.E ~ Not One Puff Ever ~ N.M.W No Matter what! Vigilance is key to Freedom! The Choice is Ours!

HOW can another month be almost over?  I remember as a kid these Spring days used to drag on FOREVER, looking forward to school being out.  Life sure does change as we get older, doesn't it?!

Glad we aren't smoking over it!

Time does keep marching on. 60 Minutes  Sunday had a segment on the virtue of being Lazy. Love that they called it a virtue. Must say I have always found time to be lazy. It is important for my mental health to be lazy and just be in the outdoors and nature.

It is easier to be lazy nowadays without having to interrupt life or plan for when that next puff will be!

I totally agree with this time fleeting phenomenon! Saturdays as kids seemed to stretch on forever-- how much time my sister and I would pack into those days, especially the summertime ones.

We are not alone in our dismay as to how fast time flies as we get older~ Here's some Harvard input on this phenomenon, if interested: No, It's Not Just You: Why time "speeds up" as we get older - Science in the News (harvard.edu)

But, we are each still allotted 24 hours for each new day and however fast the days may seem to speed by, I remain committed to my sacred promise to not smoke even one puff of a cigarette no matter what happens in my life. This is what has brought me to the point of being 698 days totally free of nicotine. Looking forward to the 750 day mark on my way to the TRIPLE DIGIT CLUB of 1000 DAYS OF FREEDOM 😊

Morning.  Time flies when you are having fun, as I used to sarcastically say at work.  April is my favorite month, and May will be very busy for the schoolkids.  Graduations happen in May.  Some will be getting out of high school and in my case, some will be moving up to another grade.  Some of you may have high school graduates.  My husband is making breakfast tacos this morning and I am here for it.  The hummingbirds are back and our feeders are up.

Love that! Virtue of laziness. Sometimes we must stand still and appreciate life and the things around us.
